The base is made of 5 mm thick birch plywood and is perforated all around. Fixed seams on the edge of the basket are crocheted in it. The holes have a diameter of approx. 1 cm and are therefore not suitable for needles thicker than 10 mm. The floors are carefully selected and sanded by hand. For technical reasons, the diameter of the coasters may vary by a few mm, which is not a quality defect. The floors are made of natural material, which allows slight colour variations and minimal branching. For crocheting, I recommend 5 mm cotton thread or spaghetti. The smaller crochet hook (8.0 mm - 5.0 mm crochet hook) ensures good basket stability.
