Senator chess pieces are made of hornbeam wood, decoratively fired, painted, varnished and glued with green felt. The entire production process, from rolling the chess pieces to painting, the assembly of the individual elements of the figures (royal and women's crowns) and the painting is carried out by hand. When painting and varnishing chess pieces, hand finishing is particularly important as it allows an even colour distribution and a precise lacquer application. The chess board is made of wood, fired, painted and varnished. Inside the cassette, the chess pieces are arranged especially for this model made from a shaped, elegant green liner.
