With proper care, it will last a lifetime (or longer). We also offer a downloadable e-book with recipes. ONE PIECE EXTENDED HANDLE - The cast iron pot is with its two handles. It can be easily lifted and carried by the handles. Use kitchen gloves (not included) when moving the pot after cooking. Then you should lightly grease the inside and outside of the pot and lid as long as they are still as warm as possible (possibly reheat in the oven) and finally wipe off the excess oil with a cloth, done!
