Hose break protection function: This gas pressure regulator is equipped with a hose break protection, which contributes to the gas supply, e.g. damage to the gas hose, 100% locked off to prevent gas leakage. For the commissioning of the gas device, the gas flow must be released by pressing the brass knob of the hose break protection at the outlet of the regulator (see instructions for use). 2. Level indicator via pressure gauge: The current gas level can be read if the indicator shows the following colours: Blue: the gas bottle is empty, no more liquid gas included. Yellow: first note: the gas capacity is low, sufficient for max. 1-2 hours operating time (depending on the set power of the device). Green: Sufficient gas capacity for use of more than 2 hours of operation. 3. Leak-proof test: Properly connect the gas pickup to the gas cylinder valve with the gas pressure regulator. All gas valves on the gas collector as well as on the gas bottle must be closed. Open the gas bottle valve. The pointer of the pressure gauge moves into the green area. Now close the gas cylinder valve again. The pointer of the pressure gauge should remain in the green area. Wait approx. 5 minutes. If the pointer is still in the green area, all connections are tight and the installation has been done properly.
