V-tipa gropes nodrošinās pietiekamu berzi virvēm no 6.9mm (dubultās, pusvirves) - 10.5mm (pamatvirvēm). Iespējams lietot reversā veidā, kad pieņemot sekojošos kāpējus virve tiek automātiski nobloķēta kritiena gadījumā. Stiprinājuma vieta papildus karabīnei, lai atbrīvotu nobloķējošu ierīci reversajā stāvoklī.
