The main adapter can remain permanently on the lens. For the attachment there is a device-specific connector (not included). The two components are connected by means of bayonet closure in seconds. This construction achieves a very high repeatability with high precision. In addition, this precise locking system allows the same thermal imaging device to be used on multiple optics. The adapter itself is made of high-strength aluminium, all moving parts are made of hardened steel.
