Technical details: loudspeakers with a frequency range (IEC 268-5) of 42 – 35,000 Hz, a crossover frequency of 200/2000 Hz and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms. Sophisticated design: sturdy MDF housing with high wall thicknesses and internal struts. The position of the bass reflex tubes on the front of the speakers allows for placement on a shelf or close to the wall. The UC52 knows how to perfectly illuminate a large listening zone with sound thanks to the concentric mid-high frequency chassis. The high-performance equipment with two low-frequency chassis ensures powerful playback of dialogue and everything that needs attention. Concentric mid-high frequency chassis The silk dome tweeter has an extended playback range towards high and low frequencies thanks to a changed beading geometry. The mid-range driver has also been optimised – the embossed aluminium cone has a changed shape and the voice coil diameter has been increased. Low frequency chassis. The concave diaphragms of the woofers are each made from an embossed piece of aluminium. The high stiffness combined with the powerful magnetic system of the woofers ensures an impressively dynamic and accurate reproduction in the bass and lower midrange range. Perfected crossover The elaborately designed crossover of the Uni-Fi 2.0 series not only ensures optimal allocation of frequency bands or the perfect interaction of the individual chassis, but also offers optimised linearization of the impedance profile.
