With the color-coded sleeve, it helps to identify the polarity of the speaker cable so that your speakers produce the truest audio frequencies and sound waves from the source. The two screw design ensures that the banana plug stays securely connected to the speaker cables. You can attach both locking screws to the bare speaker cables for maximum contact or attach a locking screw to the PVC jacket of the speaker cable to increase elasticity.
