Par ērtību rūpēsies uzlabota virves bloķēšanas sistēma, samazinot virves pretestību to izdodot kāpējam vai ieņemot- šos režīmus iespējams pārslēgt ar pogu ierīces sānā (augšējā/apakšējā drošināšana). Drošības ziņā jauninājums ir pretpanikas rokturis, kas, it īpaši jaunajiem kāpējiem, nolaišanas brīdī kontrolē nolaišanas ātrumu- ja ierīce "jūt" pārāk lielu nolaišanas ātrumu, tā bloķējas un aptur kustību. Ierīci var atbloķēt atgriežot rokturi sākotnējā stāvoklī un uzsākot nolaišanu no jauna.
